사랑하는 중앙대학교 학생 여러분, 자랑스러운 교직원 및 동문 여러분 그리고 중앙대학교에 관심을 가지고 늘 지켜봐 주시는 시민 여러분, 안녕하십니까?
Dear students, faculty and staff, alumni and citizens sending unwavering support to our school,
亲爱的中央大学同学、教职工、校友们，以及一直对中央大学关爱有加的各位朋友们，大家好！
저는 중앙대학교 16대 총장에 취임하는 박상규입니다.
I am Park Sang-Gue, the 16th President of Chung-Ang University.
我是中央大学第十六任校长朴相奎。
여러분을 직접 뵙고 영광과 비전(vision)을 함께 공유하고 싶었으나 국가적으로 어려운 시기이기에 영상으로 인사드리는 것을 널리 이해해 주시기 바랍니다.
I was looking forward to seeing you in person to extend my gratitude and share my new vision, but as you may well know, the country is going through a difficult time, so please understand that I am sending video greetings.
虽然很想与大家面对面一起分享这份荣光以及对未来的展望，因为 现在是国家的非常时期，所以不得不以影像的方式向大家致以问候，请海涵。
저는, 100년의 역사를 지닌 대학의 총장을 맡는다는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 알고 있기에, 벌써부터 몸과 마음은 무겁기만 합니다.
I feel a deep sense of responsibility as I know what it means to be the president of a university with more than 100 years of history.
我深知作为一所拥有百年历史的大学的校长，我肩负着责任与担当。
저는 오늘 이 자리에서 100년 전 인재육성의 대망을 안고 초석을 다졌을 당시부터 오늘에 이르기까지 모든 분들이 가졌던 부푼 꿈과 노고를 그려봅니다.
I am here today thinking about the dreams and hard work of my predecessors and colleagues who have dedicated themselves to the ambition of nurturing bright young minds from the day the foundation of Chung-Ang University was laid 100 years ago to now.
回想这百年来，无数的前辈抱着为国培养人才的远大理想，呕心沥血，鞠躬尽瘁，我感到无比的感激和激动。
모든 역경을 극복하고 30만 동문을 배출하여 대한민국의 발전의 동량이 되게 하신 역대 이사장님, 총장님, 그리고 한결같이 모교사랑을 실천해 주신 동창회장님들의 염원이 저의 머리를 가득 채워 옵니다.
Despite all difficulties, CAU has produced 300,000 graduates who have served as the driving force of Korea’s remarkable growth. This has been possible thanks to the efforts made by former chairmen of the University Board and CAU Presidents as well as Presidents of the alumni association who have continuously shown love for our dear alma mater.
克服所有困难，为大韩民国培养了三十万栋梁之才的历代理事长、校长 以及对母校的爱始终不渝的同学会会长的一片冰心，对我影响深刻。
또한 학문과 연구를 억압받던 시대에도 대학의 연구 역량을 키워 오신 교수님들의 현광(賢光)이 우리 앞을 환하게 비추고 있음을 봅니다.
Even when our academic passion was suppressed by external forces, our professors showed an unwavering determination to foster our research capability. Their insights have been a guiding light on our path ahead.
即使在研究受阻时，也依然无畏艰辛，为学校的研究发展做出巨大贡献的教授们，仿佛灯塔一般，照亮着我们的前行之路。
여기에다 연구와 교육이 최적화되도록 대학 행정을 책임져 오신 직원 여러분의 노고로 흐른 땀방울이 저에게는 눈물처럼 느껴집니다.
To my eyes, the sweat shed by our hard-working staff members for the outstanding university administration to create the best environment for research and learning looks like teardrops.
为了给研究与教育提供最佳条件而不辞劳苦，兢兢业业的各位行政职员，你们的辛勤与汗水，我感同身受.
무엇보다도 중앙대학교를 입학하여 학교를 다니고 있는 재학생들과 중앙대학교를 입학하기 위해 준비하고 있는 예비 학생들의 원대한 꿈이 저의 심장을 뛰게 합니다.
Most of all, my heart pounds when I think about great dreams and anticipations of our potential and current students who will spread their wings here at Chung-Ang University.
各位已经进入中央大学的在校生同学以及正为了进入中央大学而努力的同学们，你们的远大理想使我心潮澎湃。
저는 이제 막, 이 모든 것의 토대 위에 섰습니다.
And now, I have just embarked on my journey with you.
如今，我站在了前辈们通过不懈努力建立起来的基石上。
중앙인 여러분!
Dear all CAU members,
중앙대학교가 설립된 이래로 모든 중앙인의 마음 속 깊은 곳에는 ‘의와 참’이라는 교훈이 늘 살아 있습니다.
Truth and justice have been the two core values that have underpinned Chung-Ang University since its foundation.
各位中央人！中央大学的校训是“义与真”。
‘의’라는 ‘인간됨’과 ‘참’이라는 ‘진리 추구’의 정신은 중앙인에게는 빛나는 훈장과 같은 것이며, 이것은 앞으로도 ‘의와 참의 빛은 중앙에서’ 시작된다는 자랑스러운 역사로 이어질 것입니다.
You can be proud to be one of the CAU members pursuing the spirit of truth and justice, which will be part of our proud legacy that “the light of truth and justice starts from CAU.”
它代表中央大学育人所追求的是人性和真理。它是中央中央大学教育理念中最闪光的存在。追求“义与真”将一直伴随着中央大学，直至永远。
제가 지난 1979년 중앙대학교에 입학하기 위해 흑석동에 발을 디뎠을 때부터 미국으로 박사과정을 밟기 위해 떠나는 비행기 안에서도, 그리고 중앙대학교 교수로 부임한 이래로 오늘 이 순간까지, 머릿속에는 늘 이루고 싶은 중앙대학교의 모습이 있었습니다.
From the day I first stepped on campus in Heukseok in 1979, to the day I put myself on an airplane heading to the United States for my Ph.D. degree, to the day I was appointed as professor at Chung-Ang University and to this very moment I am talking to you, I have thought about my dream university that I want to build on our campus.
从1979年我为了进入中央大学，第一次来到黑石洞起，到后来为了进修博士学位远赴美国，后又任职中央大学教授，再到今时今日，我一直都有一个关于中央大学的美好愿望。
의를 가슴에 품고, 참을 추구하며,
누구든지, 어떤 꿈을 자유롭게 꿀 수 있는 곳.
문화와 예술이 흘러넘치고,
열정이 넘쳐나서 도전이 일상이 되는 대학 말입니다.
A university where everyone strives for justice and truth; a university where anyone can dream about anything they want; a university where culture and art flourish; and a university where everyone is full of ambition and not afraid of the challenge.
我心中的中央大学
是一个可以自由地追逐梦想，
文化与艺术百花争鸣的地方，
在这里人人胸怀正义，追寻真理，热情澎湃，不畏挑战。
저는 이것을 ‘중앙의 꿈’(中央夢)으로 생각하고 살아왔습니다.
I want to call it the “Dream of Chung-Ang.”
我一直将其视为“中央梦”，
저는 이제 총장으로서 ‘의와 참’이 샘이 되고, ‘중앙의 꿈’이 강물이 되어, 먼 바다로 이어지는 ‘대장정’의 첫발을 디뎠습니다.
저는 다소 거칠지만 담대한 꿈을 꾸어야 더 멀리 갈 수 있다고 생각하며, 이것은 우리 대학의 여러 가지 현재 상황을 고려할 때 총장으로서 선택해야 할 비전이며, 세밀한 부분은 행정을 맡아 불철주야 고민해주시는 분들께서 채워주실 것으로 믿기에 실현 가능한 미래가 될 것입니다.
Just like water that flows from streams to rivers and to the ocean, my dream is to let the spirit of “truth and justice” flow through the river of the “Dream of Chung-Ang” to go beyond the great ocean where this “grand journey” ends. I just took the first step of this journey as President.
I believe in the power of ambition, a great motivator that guides us to go further. This is my vision I pursue as President under the current circumstances. I am sure that this big-picture vision will become a reality thanks to the efforts of our detail-oriented faculty and staff members working hard day and night.
所谓“欲穷千里目，更上一层楼”，作为校长，我认为这是我们学校所必须要具有的远大志向，相信在各位教职工的共同努力下，在不远的将来我们一定可以实现这一梦想！
한때 좋은 대학에 가거나, 좋은 직장에 들어가면 성공인 시대가 있었습니다.
There was a time when going to a prestigious university and getting a high-paying job was regarded as a success.
曾经, 考上一个好大学，找到一份好工作就是成功。
그러나 앞으로 ‘성공’이라는 개념은 ‘성장’으로 바뀌어야 합니다.
However, we should realize that what “success” really means is “growth.”
然而在未来，应当将“成长”视为“成功”。
조만간 도래할 AI 시대에, 성공이란 지속가능한 개념이 될 수 없기 때문입니다.
Defining success by college degrees and well-paying jobs is no longer viable in the upcoming era of artificial intelligence.
因为在即将到来的人工智能时代，没有人可以一直是成功的。
중앙대학교에 머무는 순간에만 성장하는 것이 아니라, 평생 동안 성장해 갈 수 있는 힘을 길러야 합니다.
Instead of focusing solely on short-term growth, which could be learning on campus, we need to pursue life-long growth.
成长，不应仅局限于在中央大学的这段时间，而是应当贯彻人的一生。
그래서 저는, 중앙대학교가 ‘함께 성장하는 대학’의 모델을 만들어 가기를 희망합니다.
I want all CAU members to take part in building “a university where its members grow together.”
因此，我希望能将中央大学建设成“共同成长的大学”。
학생, 교수, 직원뿐만 아니라 지역 사회와 국가, 나아가서는 세상의 모든 생명체가 함께 성장해 나가야 한다는 신념을 가져야만 합니다.
We need to share a belief that not only students, faculty and staff, but also the local community, the country and the whole world should grow together.
不仅仅是学生、教授、职员，地区社会与国家乃至全人类都应该齐心协力，共同成长。
총장을 비롯한 우리 대학 구성원 모두가, 서로에게 선한 영향을 미치는 시스템을 구축할 수 있다면, 우리 대학은 ‘함께 성장하는 대학’이라는 모델을, 세상에 선보일 수 있을 것입니다.
If we can create a system where we make a positive impact on each other, we will be able to show the world a model of “a university where its members grow together.”
如果能够建立包括校长在内的所有本校成员互相积极影响的环境的话，我们学校便可以向全世界展现“共同成长的大学“这一理念。
존경하는 중앙인 여러분, 그리고 중앙대학교를 사랑하는 시민 여러분
Honorable CAU members and citizens who love Chung-Ang University,
尊敬的全体中央人，以及所有热爱中央大学的各位，
대학에서 이루어지는 대부분의 성과들은 미래를 예측하기 위한 것입니다.
Most of the achievements made by universities are designed to predict the future.
在学校里实现的大部分成果都是为了更美好的明天。
우리는 앞으로 우리 학생들이, 사회에서 활동을 시작할 10년 후 미래가 어떻게 변화할지를 함께 고민해야 합니다.
We need to look ahead to the next 10 years when our students will start their career.
我们应该共同思考，10年之后我们所生活的社会将会出现怎么样的变化。
현재 상황을 토대로 우리가 예측할 수 있는 미래는, AI와 함께 살아가는 세상입니다.
It is obvious that AI will be a crucial part of our daily lives.
以目前的情况来看，未来将是人工智能的时代。
이미 비지도학습과 강화학습, 전이학습을 수행하는 AI만으로도, 인간의 삶과 사회는 많은 변화가 일어나고 있습니다.
We are already witnessing a great transformation in our society made by AI robots for unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning and transfer learning.
实行非指导学习，强化学习以及迁移学习的人工智能已经给我们的生活和社会带来了很多的变化。
AI와 함께, 향후 휴머노이드 기술까지 본격적으로 진화한다면, 세상은 한 번도 경험하지 못한 패러다임의 변화가 일어날 것입니다.
Advances in Artificial Intelligence and humanoid robots will bring about an unprecedented paradigm shift.
伴随着人工智能，待类人类技术正式进化后，世界将发生前所未有的巨大变化。
그래서 우리나라의 대학들도 하루빨리 AI 교육 체제로 전환되어야 합니다.
That is why universities in Korea should implement an AI-based education system as soon as possible.
所以我国的大学需要尽快转换为人工智能教育体系。
우리 중앙대학교는 빠른 시간 내에 모든 학문 단위가 AI와 접목하는 AI(X) 교육시스템을 구축하고, 이를 통해 인간의 문제를 해결하며, 사회의 번영에 기여하는, AI 연구, 교육 체계를 만들어 가겠습니다.
To address problems in human society and contribute to its prosperity, Chung-Ang University will develop an AI-based education and research system that integrates all academic disciplines with AI in a short period of time.
我们中央大学的各个学术领域都将充分利用人工智能技术，在最短的时间内建设“AI(X)教育系统”，并通过这一系统解决人类问题，构建有利于社会繁荣发展的人工智能研究、教育体系。
존경하는 중앙인 여러분
Honorable CAU members,
尊敬的各位中央人，
여러분께서도 마찬가지이겠지만 제가 살아온 지난 날도 어느 한 해 무사태평이던 때는 없었습니다.
You may all agree that life is full of ups and downs.
相信各位也和我一样，生活中总是充满了意外与不确定。
대학 앞에 놓인 현실도 마찬가지입니다. 학령인구의 감소, 10년 동안 계속된 등록금 동결로 악화된 재정, 국제 경쟁의 심화, 온라인 교육의 본격적인 도입, 4차산업혁명 등 사회 변화를 따라가지 못하는 대학의 현실, 학문의 융합화로 학문 간 장벽을 낮춰야 하는 현실 등, 수도 없이 많은 난제들이 우리 앞에 놓여 있습니다.
And now, universities are faced with numerous daunting challenges: declining school-age populations, deteriorating financial conditions due to tuition freeze, heightened global competition, widespread introduction of online education methods, universities failing to keep up with changes in society such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a reality where the barriers between disciplines have to be lowered due to convergence of academic fields.
目前我们学校所面对的现况也是一样的。学龄人口的减少，10年未曾上涨的学费导致的财政状况恶化，国际竞争的深化，线上授课的正式导入，第四次工业革命等社会变化，知识的融合化趋势及学科间壁垒的消除等等无数的难题正摆在我们的面前。
저는 제 임기 동안 이 모든 일이 해결될 수 있다고 생각하지 않습니다.
I don’t think all these problems will be addressed during my term.
我不认为在我的任期内全部的问题都能得到解决。
어쩌면 총장의 임기를 수행하는 중에, 현실의 벽 앞에서 때로는 좌절할 것입니다.
Maybe I could be frustrated by a daunting reality while carrying out my duties as President.
我在作为校长的期间，也许会遭遇挫折，受到现实的打击，
그러나 여러분 앞에서 다짐컨대, 저는 결코 포기하지 않을 것입니다.
However, I promise I will never give up.
但是可以向各位保证，我绝不会轻言放弃。
제가 더 빨리, 더 수월하게 좌절을 딛고 새로운 길을 찾도록 용기를 주실 여러분을 믿기 때문입니다.‘중앙인의 힘’을 믿기 때문입니다.
I believe you will give me the courage to overcome all the obstacles and find a way out more easily and quickly. I believe in the “power of the Chung-Ang family.”
因为我相信大家会给我勇气，让我能更迅速、更好地克服挫折，找到新的道路。
그때그때의 임기응변식 대응으로는 더 이상 유효하지 않다는 것을 이제 모두 알고 있습니다.
We all know that temporary measures are no longer effective.
众所周知，随机应变式的对应已经不再有效。
우리가 함께 성장할 수 있도록, 지속가능한 대학 시스템을 구축하는 것이, 쉬운 일은 아니지만, ‘나’의 성장을 ‘대학의 성장’이라고 생각한다면, 충분히 가능할 것입니다.
I am well aware of how difficult it would be to build a sustainable system that helps us grow together. However, it will be possible if we think the “growth of our university” as “our own growth.”
虽然建设可持续发展的大学系统并不是一件容易的事，但是为了我们能共同成长，只要大家把“我”的成长当作“大学的成长”的话，这一目标便可以得到充分实现。
중앙대학교의 미래와 함께 해 주실 여러분!
Dear CAU members who will walk together to the future!
愿与中央大学共建未来的各位！
이제부터는 여러분이 주인공이 되어 중앙대학교의 변화를 이끌어 주시고, 동참해 주시기를 당부 드립니다.
Going forward, I would like to ask you to lead change in Chung-Ang University.
今后，愿各位能够亲身参与、引导中央大学的发展与变化，争做时代的主人公。
저는 기꺼이 그 열정의 후원자가 되겠습니다.
I will be the biggest supporter of your passion.
我将全力以赴地支持大家！
세상을 환하게 비칠 수 있는 중앙대학교가 되도록, 부싯돌의 심정으로 총장직에 임하겠습니다. 제가 지금까지 쌓아온 모든 경험과 역량을 바쳐, 구들 깊은 곳에서 여러분을 데우고 연탄재로 남을 총장이 되겠습니다.
Just like flints that make a fire and give of light, I will sacrifice myself to make CAU the light of the world. I will devote all my experiences and abilities for you just as coal that burns itself to keep you warm.
所谓“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干”，为了让中央大学能在世界的舞台上大放光彩，我愿化身为各位前行路上的蜡烛，用毕生所学点燃自己，照亮前方！
바쁜 시간 중에도 경청해 주셔서 감사합니다.
